The 2013 No Hunger Holiday will mark a significant milestone in that it will be the 23rd year for the event. Not only does No Hunger Holiday continue to growth through its current base of social service agencies. With our recent expansions into Lincoln and Warren County in Missouri No Hunger Holiday is projected for 2013 to serve over 2,000 families in a year for the first time in its history.

Of course we wish one day to say there is no need to continue No Hunger Holiday, but the reality remains that not only is there still a need to provide Thanksgiving Day meals for families, the need seems to grow every year. No Hunger Holiday’s base with various social service agencies has also grown, and after 20-plus years we are proud to say that at least for one day a year, Hunger Takes a Holiday.

While we are proud to have been able to serve the needy in our area for 21 years, and our goal will continue to eradicate hunger completely, we will continue our efforts with No Hunger Holiday for another 20 plus years and beyond as long as the need to provide for families remains. We are blessed to be in a position to provide for others, and are even more grateful to our donors, volunteers and partners who continue to make No Hunger Holiday possible.
